I was just working on my history site and struggling with a Slavic name spelling. I actually forgot how to spell the damn thing and had to find a text. It was like looking for a needle in a haystack. Annoying.

Well, the people looking at the site know I screwed up, but so what? I had a mistake on a German spelling--I spelled the German university "Gottingen", and got an e-mail from the University itself telling me the translation should be "Goettingen". So I changed the spelling on the site with an explanation. If someone from Bosnia sees this other spelling I'll get more interesting e-mail.
