U2/porno For Pyros Morph

After listening to Electrical Storm a number of times now, I have come up with this conclusion:

I could not put my thumb on the sound I kept hearing in the song, but it sounded very familiar.

Not so much a specific sound, but kind of a theme throughout the song.

I dug through the back of my brain to all the stuff I listen to and thought that this sounds a lot like the songs on the Porno for Pyros CD Good God's Urge.

I am not saying that the lyrics are that close to Perry's nor am I saying that the music is much like Porno or Janes, but the song makes me think of the ocean, and some kind of Polynesian place. I got the same feel from Good God's Urge. I am a huge Janes/Porno fan and I am now a big fan of the new song, even though I think it needs some production work (thank god u2.com confirmed it is a demo and needs more work!!!)

Ok Ouizy, I would have to be one of Australia's biggest JA/Pornos/Perry fans and I have Good God's Urge and I can see where you are coming from, GGU always makes me think of summer, beaches and water but to be honest I dont think that Storm would have ever made me think of Pornos or GGU maybe if storm had a bit of wierd sampling in there I might make the comparrison or get vibes that make me think of GGU, however if this doess become a mjor single it will probably end up making me think of all things summery, as it will be released in our summer here in the southern hemisphere and where I live in the tropical part of Australia we get loads of 'electrical summer storms' throughout summer...........


but anyway seeing as though I have met a fellow Janes fan ( I thought I was the only one on here ) I just have to say that for about the last month or so I have not been able to stop playing Three Days, I have a new found love for this song and have been blasting it nearly everyday, I just love the Navarro riffs in this song
