This obviously biased because I wasn't present at more than half of these tours and I don't think a show can really be judged on word of mouth and bootlegs but whatever.

( seen it 5 times , 1 inside Rotterdam , 4 outside Rotterdam and Nijmegen)
02 - Lovetown
( seen it 2 times , 1 Amsterdam ( Bono lost his voice ) and 01-10 Rotterdam )
03 - Vertigo
( seen it 3 times , all three Amsterdam shows )
04 Popmart
( seen it 3 times , 2 in Rotterdam and 1 in Hanover )
05 - Elevation
( seen it 3 times , all three Arhem shows )

From this point I haven`t attended the tours.

Well, I've only seen one show (Vertigo tour) so I cant real well make a good list. However, I would put Elevation at the top. I would give anything to have seen an Elevation show.

Maybe not one of the bands best tour, but one of Bono's best. Just like Lovetown he gave his all.

Rotterdam, Sarajevo, Miexico, Santiago...


And yes, there is no JT tour on my list. I think that tour had realy booring versions of the songs. The only songs that where intressting on that tour was WOWY, ISHFWILF,IGC, WTSHNN and some versions on Bad. I think Lovetown was much better, the band was realy good and agrisive. Might be that edge was in devorse, Larry was trired of doing the same thing all the time, Adam was arested and Bono had trouble with his voice. But they all gave their all in their frustration.

It's very simple,ZOOTV,even 15 years later ,is still edgy.They would sold all the shows even today if they were to do that tour again.I doubt very much they would come close to sold out the Vertigo tour for a second time around.

Vertigo and Elevation all the way, because they connected more to the audience. Zoo TV and PopMart were mostly overkills, interesting concepts, though, but, at least for my tastes, way too much. Cannot say anything about older tours because I only have seen them on video.
