I'm posting this with my begging cap extended! When I lived at home in Dublin I bought the charity single "North and South of the River" with Christy Moore and U2. It's all Christy on the vocals, til Edge and Bono do a little melody towards the end. Over the years, I lost the CD, I did find it again on 1995's "celtic heartbeats" - a compliation CD of Irish music, but alas that suffered the same fate. Gone.
Recently, I've been craving to hear this version of the song, however extensive searches of Amazon.co.uk\com, play.com, itunes etc - I can't find it anywhere.
It any kind soul knows when I can find it, could you respond to me, dub2501@yahoo.com???? I really want to play it for my girlfriend and I've had no luck in finding it anywhere.
