In short No.

They've had a few really good acoustic moments, but a whole album? No thanks. U2's sound depends on effects and minimalism.

I'd hate it, just like I hate almost every live performance they've done of a song watered down to acoustic form.

As an EP it would be nice, then we'd know they are still alive. But a whole studio album, nah. I wasn't a fan of SATS at Slane at all.
