I'm supposed to do a job shadowing thing once this year. Most have already done it, and mine was scheduled for today. There may not be another opportunity.

In my defense, my adviser never reminded me. I just got back from spring break two days ago. The reason I forgot was because I had it in my head that it was the second Tuesday after break, when in actuality it was the first.

Not sure how important this is. I e-mailed my adviser an hour ago, the response will be a big indicator.

My mother will probably kill me when I tell her, though.

In the grand scheme of things, it won't matter a bit.

The problem is that my mother loves to point these types of things out down the road. So, not only will she really give it to me, but this will stay with.

I know, personally, it's not all that big of a deal, but this will be a problem to sort out for a while.

She and I have discussed politics twice, both ending in her walking out of the discussion angrily. The first time it was welfare, the second time was Obama's pastor.

The small number is for a reason.

She's a registered Independent, but she tends to lean to the right. She's vehemently anti-union because she felt unions prevented her father from reaching his full potential (she was one of six, and, thus, they were lower class).

I have a Young Dems meeting tonight and I was considering having a discussion on the race, but people have gotten so angry and divided I'm trying to come up with something else to do that will be engaging, interesting, but will keep people together.

I've been surprised at the lack of advertising so far, especially considering the registering deadline was yesterday.

I've seen one Obama ad on two occassions, and that's it.

They were talking about the surprising low amount of advertising on MSNBC today. Part of it is is Clinton's lack of campaign funds.

Oh by the way they changed the date of going to PA and naturally they moved it to a weekend that I'm busy

i am intentionally skipping something i shouldn't right now, because 1) i didn't do the work and 2) i'm freaking out about having nothing to do next year so i'm filling out au pair profiles so i can learn french in france.

I'm officially submitting my papers tomorrow to drop my foreign language course for next year. It's a useful skill, but I'm not dedicated enough to it.

If I want a peace corp placement in francophone Africa I need some French. And I want that for a career skill. Sadly but obviously, lots of the nanny jobs in France require some French already. But a few don't. I've found a perfect one already, we'll see if they feel the same way. My education is an advantage but no French is a disadvantage.

Oh, yes, if I was going overseas like you I would definitely get involved with that. For you, it makes a lot of sense.

I speak poor Spanish that I will forget once I drop this course.
