My class' valedictorian spot will come under controversy. The current No. 1 is this genius kid who skipped eighth grade, so he's a year younger than us and is supposed to be a sophomore, not a junior.

I'm a closet smart guy. Most people on this site wouldn't guess it. I'm in the top 25 of my 375 person high school class.

When I'm really angry though, all swear words just disappear. Then you know it's time to get out into the old bomb shelter.
Yeah, I've got to admit, those people I know who rarely use 'fuck' make their point loud and clear when they do use it. I, of course, would argue that ANY word would have the same effectiveness if they clearly only used it in specific contexts.

Whoah, genetic freak. Us Asians usually just stay in libraries and never appear until the final exams.

True story, my year had 360-odd people in it, and I thought I knew all of them by sight. Then, the final year comes along, and I see 20 or so Asian guys that I'd never seen before in my life! Apparently they'd all been at the school for the same time as the majority of us, too...

My only remark was "so they were just hiding in the library, emerging for classes huh?"

No, I'd believe it. You write well, your points are logically constructed, and if I didn't already know your age, I'd think you're in your young 20s, not 17.

Incidentally, this post and a comment on your LJ makes me curious: what's your IQ?

I, for the record, generally get a result around 165. (And you, Maj.?)

Nah, that's a fair call. You do seem a lot more intelligent than a lot of the people on this board (although that being said, it's not entirely difficult sometimes...).

For example, I've always been able to read your posts, and usually find them pretty good.

Similar to that. It's somewhere between 160 and 180.

My school must've been a weird exception. Maths C is the highest level of mathematics offered in Queensland, and all of the top students were white. There were only two Asians in the class and neither were particularly good.

I don't think that IQ's a really great indicator of anything, but last I checked mine was between 125 and 130, but not on a proper test. I haven't done a proper IQ test since, well, they went out of fashion a while back.

I wish there was a tortoise smiley, or something that indicates stupidity well. Instead, I'll just go with... for myself compared to you guys.

Will the uni be able to handle our theological musings ...? DUN DUN DUN!

I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm not worried about the uni being able to handle it, I'm worried about our intellectual capacities (mine mostly) being overwhelmed.

And yeah, I'm really looking forward to it to. Terrorism won't know what hit it, ha.

The one Asian in my English class is the most epic failure of a person I've ever seen. The kid's bright. But he's the laziest, most annoying fucking dick I've ever met. He sits in class sleeping or pissing off the teacher, he smokes cigarettes because he thinks it's cool, he goes around lunches stealing people's food and pretending it's just a joke. Man, I hate that guy.
