To not be living in Los Angeles this time next year, unless something incredibly positive develops at work.

To continue losing weight. Dropped 75 pounds in 2006, need to keep it up because I'm still somehow a blimp.

Do more mentoring.

Start playing sports more often, I miss that rush of exercise and competition. Still playing softball year round, but, need more.

Write more.

Continue to expand my horizons, and focus specifically on leaving my comfort zone more often....have this cocoon I've constructed around me and while I love my life and the people in it, feel like I've stagnated and that must cease.

That's a long enough list.

I'm not sure that 8-10 glasses is necessary, as water is found in a lot of foods we eat. I think I did that for a while, but now go by thirst.

This website debunks that as a myth:

I don't usually make my own New Year's Resolution cause I think they are stupid....but I do have an overall family Resolution....We don't want my mom going to back to the hospital at all!

I hope Ireland is on your list

I don't make New Years resolutions, I'll never stick to them.

That site is cool. I've learned that 5% of people that take the anti-depressant drug 'Clomipramine' have "inadvertent orgasms when yawning"

interesting...I'm an athlete though and generally feel like I need to drink more water so yeah. I doubt it could hurt me and everyone needs their pointless little goals.

I am going to enjoy a trip to Ireland/UK and look for a new job, new interests and new friends. Out with the old, in with the New.

Ditto that. I've gained over 30 pounds since I had to quit gymnastics (had to as in I did not quit by choice). Most of it went to my thighs, hips, and stomach. Now it's starting to spread

I should really quit soda, or at least try to make enough time to burn off my soda calories every day. Like that would ever happen

I had a bad soda addiction too but I switched to diet soda so no calories but I still get satisified.

Skip TO and come to London!!

More travel

Less Work

Lose more weight

Continue to downsize the amount of stuff I own

Volunteer more

I made a resolution last year to be open to dating, which I did a few times early on in the year, so maybe resume that again, although there only seems to be a bunch of clowns in the dating pool around here.

Buy another house or buy a cottage by years end or be in a position to for early '08

I've tried, but I hate the taste. I'd rather drink mouthwash than diet Mountain Dew. Plus, it's just as bad for your teeth (it's the acid, not the sugar) so I might as well go cold turkey, it just hasn't worked out yet...

Quitting soda was a very hard but very key thing for me. I went Cold Turkey and have maybe had 2 glasses in the past 12 months. I cannot stand the taste of diet soda, either. I basically stick to water now, with the occasional glass of Apple Juice.

I'd like to meet a few more interference people, too, and to that end, I'll be at the NY gathering on St. Patty's Day. Now it's just a question of actually meeting some of these people as opposed to just being in the same place as them without introducing myself.
