I have read 5 different rewiews on the album and all of them were positive, and thsy said that it is one of her best albums.

i love her new album!
i've been a fan since tuesday night music club came out and i think this could be one of her best! (still like the last one better) although i think this one has a summer vibe to it, which probably explains why she waited so long to release it after it got delayed.

I was listening to this CD and wondering if the following lyrics are ripping on Bono...
From the first track titled "Steve McQueen"...

Sheryl Crow uses every media opportunity she gets to rip the "porn" pop stars, yet she herself exploits her sexuality every chance she gets -- now she's gonna have a problem with Bono? I don't know, the more I see of her, the more flaky she seems

check out the latest cover and inside spread of the Maxim magazine, where she rips the teen pop stars for selling their sexuality, meanwhile she is half-nude in the photo shoot, I don't disagree with the things she was saying in her interview, but she made herself look quite ridiculous saying them amidst her revealing photo shoot

I saw a picture of Bono w/Sherly Crow (& Gwen Stafani in a recent Rolling Stone) at an after party for the Grammy's(I think it was an Interscope party).
She also spoke very highly of U2 during interviews b4 the Grammy's and was reportedly at one of their shows in NYC last fall.
As for the lyric about rock stars in the Whitehouse: I wouldn't make too much of it. It is an honest lyric and it is an innocent fact. It is not positive or negative. Just a factual lyric.

I love Sheryl Crow, she is my fave female artist. Her new album is the first one I bought since ATYCLB. It's good, a bit commercial compared to her last studio album but it's my second fave album she has done. My first fave is her 2nd album, Sheryl Crow. I saw her in concert last week at this radio station concert. She played 10 songs, it was cool but the crowd was not into it. That can affect things.

oh yeah Wanderer, she isnt necessarily putting down Bono for being the rockstar in the White House in Steve McQueen, and she is on cool terms with Bono so I hardly think it's a stab.
Oh did I neglect to tell you that I spent the day with Sheryl Crow a year and a half ago or so as a Talent Escort at the Blockbuster Music awards. It may have just been last year. She performed with Stevie Nicks. Anyway, she is a way cool person. Very very down to earth and just a normal female in the way she acts and feels. Chris Isaak hung out with her a bit too but they are just friends.
