Franz Ferdinand--You Could Have It So Much Better (which finally went on sale for 10 clams)

Great album!

Yesterday, when I arrived home I found on the doormat:
Bob Dylan - Blonde On Blonde (SACD hybrid reissue from 2003)

I already had the old Columbia CD, but this reissue is supposedly a marked improvement (and also a slightly different mix, maybe even the original mix).
I'm gonna listen to that one in a few minutes...

Pearl Jam - Pearl Jam (possibly my favourite album in years, incidentally. I think it's great)
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium

... I would have bought more, but all four seasons of Futurama were on sale for $25 instead of $65, so I bought the whole series :shifty:

Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
Wolf Parade - Apologoes to the Queen Mary

(I already owned these cd's, but not legally. Since they are damn fine albums, I thought I'd buy them finally!)

Dixie Chicks - Taking the Long Way
RHCP - Stadium Arcadium
Jet - Get Born
Neil Young - Living With War
Pearl Jam
Bruce Springsteen - We Shall Overcome The Seeger Sessions (this is my 2nd copy, my Dad was over and he loved what he was listening to so I gave him my used copy)

Actually, I did buy two tapes in Kenya at the local record store! :D Walked past it everyday on my way to my office, so I decided I couldn't leave without seeing what they had - and then just buying two tapes for fun! I not like they cost a furtune... So, this was what I got - if any of you should be experts in local Kenyan music!

Kegogi Calvary Choir: Enseye Nembe - Tagoseka Oyomino
Kirwanda Junior: Omogambi Kennedy Atemba - Obotaka Tibori Kegomi

I finally broke down and bought

Depeche Mode-the singles 81-85

I am just obsessed with 80's music. Next up is one of the tears for fears best of collections, i'm not sure which one has the most quality songs on it.

Anyone have an opinon on Tears for fears greatest hits albums?

The past 2 days the following CDs arrived:

Elvis Costello & The Attractions - All This Useless Beauty (2CD Reissue)
Bob Dylan - Street Legal

Elvis Costello - Blood and Chocolate

I almost bought the Radiohead "Just" import single that has eight songs on it. The record store is selling it for $12.99. Is it worth buying, Radiohead fans?

The Stone Roses - 'The Complete Stone Roses'
The Radio Dept. - 'Lesser Matters'

I actually nearly bought that new Scott Walker CD! I really wish I never would have seen that thread here, it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Oh, the things some people put in garage sales!

Yesterday I found the Very Best of Elvis Costello 2-CD set for $2! I already have a lot of his studio albums, but I was still super excited by that find.

I also found a DVD of Prince Live in Las Vegas (2002) at the same garage sale. I've already watched it, and it's a fantastic show.
