Last night I picked up The Killers' Sam's Town and Bob Dylan's Modern Times. Not too long ago, I got Ray LaMontagne's Trouble and 'Til the Sun Turns Black from iTunes.
last two albums i bought were: Irish Stew of Sindidun "So many words..." the best irish band outside of Ireland
and i'm not just saying it cos they're my friends
the other was Tir Na n'Og "Tir Na n'Og"
they're ok.... but i prefer their live performances...
besides, it's kinda aqward to play irish and sing in any language other than english or gaelic...
I have listened to and watched the Touring the Angel: Live in Milan and it Rocks!!
I now have 5 of their cd's in my possession and 1 on the way.
I haven't told you about the Some Great Reward CD/DVD either. It rocks too. Especially since I didn't have this before and the the DVD is a really good documentary of the era when SGR was released (1984).
I forgot that I got that one too. I get certain promo cd's cuz I am a music seller at Barnes and Noble. I really liked it, even when I played it every day. I also got a promo version of Bob Dylan's modern times. It is a great album too.
