That's the version I just listened to. The one from the live EP they put out last year for Record Store Day. Absolutely floors me.

Another one that just explodes live. "Steam Engine" is right there too. Seriously, the version of the latter on Okonokos makes me lose control of my bowels.

Guest spots from Okkervil River, Beirut, and St. Vincent make it even more exciting.

A thread for this sorta stuff would probably result in far more responses, at least I hope so, as it seems like there aren't many outside of the regulars who read or post in this thread. I've been wanting to talk New Pornographers lately anyways, as I've been on a "haven't listened to these guys in a while, and it's sounding good to come back to the albums again" kick.

I've still never heard Challengers.

I think that there are a few dedicated threads (for both The Pornos and A.C.) floating around. Feel free to bump away.

Am I the only one who doesn't get why PHAHB includes McCockne$$ in its acroynm? Are the broads in there really lusting after this guy?

Just sayin'.

Don't forget Hedge. He may save it from being a complete embarrassment.

The Berlin wall appearance certainly didn't go over well.

I'm in suspense.

We should start a petition saying we'll donate extra money to Haiti if they don't make the collaboration.

BTW, the Cock-Eyed Peas were also nominated for a number of Brit awards, which proves that our friends across the Atlantic are just as idiotic as NARAS.

I thought Brits only awards British music, the only type of music there is. I'd link back to that 1000 Song List that Oasis Kid posted, but I don't want to vomit all over my keyboard.

If peein' your pants is cool, consider Fergie to be Miles Davis.
