You have two options:

1. Reroute emergency power through the main deflector shield
2. Get yourself a RealPlayer

i think there's a free one. realplayer sucks ass, though. those files are better just avoided.

Get a codec pack with the realplayer codecs included, Nimo or AceMega might.
