Rest in peace Coach Bo.

It's only fitting that the for the first time in OSU and Michigan football history that it's a #1 vs. #2 meeting that Woody and Bo get to watch the game together.

Awesome post. RIP Bo.

Ohio State fans, if you win, be sure to send Crable some chocolates and thank you cards.

The Ohio State center who airmailed one shotgun snap and rolled another one on the ground must be the happiest guy on Earth right now.

Ok, I'm back. I had to take a little break b/c I'm not happy.

But...this was a great game. Both teams did well. I'll give it to Ohio State. Their defense did a good job. Especially after turnovers and such in the second half. Other teams would have given up well more than 3 points after those turnovers. They held strong.

Hart and Henne didn't disappoint me either. There were some play calls like the pass on 3rd and short instead of giving the ball to Hart. Still, if we make that play, wow. Overall, great game with a sad ending for Michigan fans everywhere.

I hope no Michigan fan is content though. I dont' care if we're 2 and they're 1. I don't care if we kept it close. We COULD have won that game. Gosh, we had it. 3rd and 15! Stopped them! I wonder if he hadn't lead with his helmet if that would have made a difference. Enough. later....

Probably "I better hit Troy Smith before he can get a throw off".

It wasn't a particularly nasty hit, nor was it out of bounds, but helmet-to-helmet hits on the QB are verboten.

Speedracer,
You're probably right on what he was thinking. I don't know though. Maybe not a nasty hit, but certainly uncalled for and something that could have been prevented.

How about this, a "Not Smart" hit.

I agree. I mean I understand Michigan fans will be bitter about it and try to claim they'd have won otherwise and everything...but really the call was right on, it was an obvious personal foul, just a really really stupid move on Crable's part.

anyway- go Bucks

I never really understood why it is that Division I-A teams can't have playoffs because of academics, but I-AA, II and III teams (whose players tend to be more serious students) can.

USA rankings - bumped USC up to #2 behind Ohio State...Michigan #3...despite wins, Florida and Notre Dame dropped due to opponent's weakness...waiting for BCS..

its a tough call between Michigan and USC

Both teams have only lost 1 game, USC lost to an unranked team, while Michigan lost to the #1 team by just 3 points on the road

USC has beaten 4 or 5 really strong teams while Michigan only beat 1, though it was a whoopin at Notre Dame which is impressive (beating Indiana was a solid W as well)

hmm, right now I'd still give the edge to Michigan
