it's a bit awkward, you have to scroll around for ages til you find the right place to be. Be much easier with a touch screen or something fancy like that. . . . . .was having crack withdrawals though and couldn't get to the computer

You clearly need another computer!

... meanwhile, I have three. I'm the only bloody person who lives here!

What is the Cure's deal anyways though? I mean, there are songs like this, and their whole goth thing. but the majority of their songs seem to be love songs, or they at least sound happier than the person singing them looks.

 A lot of their songs are really poppy too! I know I have a photo somewhere of me dressed up as Robert Smith (the singer guy) probably at Mums, I'll have to dig it out.

Obviously you've forgotten about Ax's possible favorite sig of mine ever. I know very well who Robert Smith is

I saw the video for lovesong for the first time the other day and I just looked at it and couldn't stop asking myself "WHAT THE FUCK". I think I'm better off just listening to the music. Which sucks, cause I want to see them live.

I was watching them on a live stream Sunday night, and they never once did a close up on Robert  He obviously had make-up on, but I guess they didn't think it would look good to zoom on him or something. They did close ups of other members of the band, and other lead singer's of all the other bands that performed at that concert. So, obviously there must have been some reason.

from a distance he'd be  but up close I fear it would be more like

... somebody clearly has not listened to much pre-1984 Cure AT ALL.

Good luck finding a single happy love song on Faith or Pornography. OVER AND OVER WE DIE, ONE AFTER THE OTHER!

GG2.

Siamese Twins is kind of a love song. The Funeral Party.

Siamese Twins is kind of horseshit too.

And given that The Funeral Party is my second favourite Cure song, I feel pretty confident in saying there is no way in hell that it is is a love song.

Missed your edit, Liam.

All I can say is you have a funny definition of what a happy love song is.

Jesus!!
I haven't seen you around for ages. . . . passing like ships in the night, strangers in the night? I dunno.

how's things?

Yea I think we mostly just miss each other!

I'm good, just had music class at my old highschool with a friend, was pretty cool. I still hate myself for not being able to choose music as a subject. :scream:

And now I eat fried rice leftovers

How've you been?

Two pale figures
Ache in silence
Timeless
In the quiet ground
Side by side
In age and sadness

I heard a song
And turned away
As piece by piece
You performed your story
Noiselessly across the floor
Dancing at the funeral party

That's not a lovesong?
