I feel a bit out of the loop...does that song have the potential to make LP7? I mean, are they working on it right now?

well no one knows actually...but one of their concerts last year
Thom said that they needed an orchestra to be able play the song live:drool:

the lyrics sound good:drool:

avoid all eye contact
do not react
this is a round up
this a low flying panic attack
red crosses on wooden doors
if she floats she burns
loose talk around tables
abandon all reason
stay in the shadows
cheer at the gallows
this is alow flying panic attack
six the song of sixpence that goes

burn the witch

I love that they're trying new things with this one. LP7 will trounce anything else released this year (if they finish it up by year's end).

I definitely prefer the first version, but there's something about this one that could be focused into greatness. I didn't like Arpeggi much at first, but I'm definitely starting to love it now.

arpeggi will own:wink:

as will videotape ..bodysnatchers and 15 step:drool:

I know I'll get bashed for this, but I really do love the slower songs the most so far...

House of Cards
Nude
4 Minute Warning

They really have a wonderful sense of melody when they use it.

I don't like those:shrug:..to me they're kind of boring

the Thom-Solo version of House of cards was better:drool:

B-side material

Nude however is

I think House Of Cards would be even better being around 4 minutes instead of the nearly 6 minute version we have now. I mean, the song doesn't change that much throughout, and it just gets repetitive towards the end. Still, I'll be pissed if it doesn't make the album some form...hopefully with some intelligent editing.

Nude has really pretty guitar BTW.

I just watched that exact video no more than 10 minutes ago. :giggle: Pretty damn great. Like I said before, the guitar is just

I forgot about that one. Another great ballad.

Now, let's put personal opinions aside for a second and answer the all-important question...

What will make the album?

Out of these...

15 Step
4 Minute Warning
All I Need
Arpeggi
Bangers 'N' Mash
Bodysnatchers
Down Is The New Up
Go Slowly
House of Cards
Nude
Open Pick
Spooks
Videotape

There will be, no doubt, other songs written during the sessions and songs that haven't been played live that will make the cut, so let's assume that out of the above 13 songs, 8 of them make the cut. I'll say:

1. 15 Step (I'm almost 100% sure it will)
2. All I Need (Just a guess)
3. Arpeggi (Very likely)
4. Bangers N' Mash (Likely)
5. Bodysnatchers (Likely)
6. House Of Cards (Very likely)
7. Nude (Almost certain)
8. Videotape (Likely)

15 Step will make it
4 Minute Warning will not
All I Need maybe
Arpeggi will make it
Bangers 'N' Mash may make it
Bodysnatchers will make it
Down Is The New Up will make it
Go Slowly may not make it
House of Cards will make it
Nude shoe is
Open Pick may not make it
Spooks maybe
Videotape will make it

Open pick and 4 minute warning will not make it..the band dropped those songs
pretty early in their tour last year

I am not sure about Go Slowly or Spooks:hmm:

I like Spooks. :D I think it could make a cool intro for one of the songs...Bangers N' Mash, Bodysnatchers, or maybe even 15 Step.

agreed:drool:

now what would "videotape" make a better album opener or closer?:hmm:

"The greatest album of all time"

I come from the future (August) and I can tell you, with all honesty that this album makes Abbey Road and all other "classics" sound like wank. First off, 15 Step will be hit #1 in every country with radio stations and iTunes. Bangers N' Mash has a music video containing explicit sex scenes that is banned in Taiwan.

That should be reason enough for you to buy it.

See you in the future, bitches!11!1!"

Just submitted it.
