I watched that movie (I'm Not There) over two days, and I think that messes with my enjoyment of the movie. I was into the first half, then the next day I wasn't in the mood, so I didn't like it.

I just finished watching In Bruges last night, in the same manner. Was into the first half, bored during the second ...... although that probably was because I was still online, chatting via AIM.

There is alcohol in my system right now, and the trains of thought are more or less the same as what they were before. Just the time and atmosphere, I guess.

okay...picture this: a concert with TWO big name acts (well, big for this casino) on a holiday weekend. here's the question. do you think, given that the concert is this saturday, that we'd have any tickets left? much less any free tickets?

With magic, anything can happen.

The will is a magical thing.

Logic, Khan. Logic.

Marge: Because the streets of Capital City are no place for three unescorted ladies.
Homer: Why are the kids here?
Marge: Because we couldn't find Grandpa to sit for them.
Homer: Why is Grandpa here?
Abe: Because Jasper didn't want to come by himself!
Homer: Huh, fair enough.

I have the first 6 seasons on DVD (thank you, used crap on Amazon!) and intend to get at least another few seasons. Not sure even what season it is now, and when I stopped being interested in the show.

Actually, there's probably still some alcohol in my system too, but not much. I had a solitary glass of sauvignon blanc/semillion earlier.

I swear, that wine just doesn't have enough substance. I like sweeter wines, I drink port for goodness' sake, but it just tastes like vaguely alcoholic grape juice rather than a good wine. Though it did go well with camembert cheese on crackers when I was getting smashed during the rugby last week.

I'm completely serious. Richard Gere plays an aging woodsman version of Bob Dylan who saves a town from danger.

The film sucked, if you're curious.

The Richard Gere segments were the only segments I ignored completely.

... the hell now! That's just ridiculous.

The Chaser did a half-decent parody of ads for it on The War On Everything, but that's all I really know of it.

I'm sooooooooo close to finishing off the Coldplay script. So close.

Quote:
Chris Martin: Hey, you stupid kids, get off my lawn! I'm Bono!

Edge: Sorry to wake you up so early (noon), Bono, but we need to get to work on re-recording the new songs.

Chris Martin: No big deal, mate. I've been awake for hours, taking advantage of the awesome power I wield as Bono.

Edge: Ah, the usual, eh?
