Coldplay's "Don't Panic" and "In My Place" are beautiful stuff...

How bout "When the Stars Go Blue" sung by either?

Celine Dion has a powerful/ nice voice and that was a fine pop song with great atmosphere if I remember.

Oh and I really think most of Bjork's songs on "Homogenic" and "Vespertine" fall under the category of "beautiful," with a special shout out to "Joga," "Cocoon," and "Unison."

"Shout out"....lol.

Yes, to Celine... except in controlled amounts, of course.

Indeed, the beauty of Bjork's music knows no bounds. I would especially include Pagan Poetry. Wow.

it's interesting to me that you chose those three...them being the only 3 on grace that he did not write...

i didn't have dream brother (jeff buckley) on my list, but i'll add that...along with morning theft...

One of my favourite Jeff Buckley songs is actually one of the very rough songs in progress which by rights he probably would not have released: 'I Know We Could Be So Happy Baby (If We Wanted to Be)'. So there. Also I think Last Goodbye is better than Hallelujah, though both are wonderfully performed.
