Love South Dakota we went camping there a few years ago...in the Badlands and the blackhills...so VERY COOL!!

We don't have black flies here...but they're really bad a couple hours up north.

One of the positives that's come out of the whole West Nile thing is that there aren't nearly as many mosquitoes around here...I think in the past year or two, I might have gotten bitten two or three times.

Did you happen to go to Jewel Cave? Very cool! I would like to live there..but I think it would be too far away from the coast for me..I am a water person

Dis, a mountain lion killed a deer about 100 yds or so from out tent the 2nd or 3rd night we were there and THEY DIDN'T EVEN TELL US!!!

Went to Jewel Cave, it was cool, I think our ranger guide was about 15 yrs old The old guy in front of me kept crapping in his depends, stinky so when the ranger asked for a leader, I volunteered right away. Mr GG was like 'wow, wtf' and then I told him about 'oops I crapped my pants man'

I think I will just stick to DisneyWorld where the wildcats are stuffed. We went to Muir Woods last winter & the ranger was talking about a deer they found dead & they figured a mountain lion must have killed it. Made me think twice about hiking to the ocean. That's a beautiful place where the mountains meet the ocean--that's where I want to live.

crapped my pants man..ewwww. Jewel cave is pretty neat..did you take the candlelit tour? Our ranger was like 3847 years old...he was facinated that we were from Vermont It was "fun" trying to hold a burning candle while climbing up and down rocks and ladders they whole time you couldn't see a f-ing thing and you were always worried where or on what you were going to put your hands



Holy crap! That mountain lion thing! Why didn't they tell you...those suckers are dangerous...!! Oh some advice..if your ever attacked by one..kick it in the nuts thats just something I learned

Well.......we got a thankyou card from him, and we didn't give him our address.....so he must have called the gallery for it (they take all of your info when you buy limited edition prints and stuff and keep it all on file, for whatever reason) but we thouht that was so cool.

Went to get the painting framed last night, gonna cost $235 because Mr GG wants the edging to be leather. Gonna look really cool though. Should be done on the 29th, so I have a few days to figure out where to put it.

sounds like Nova Scotia...now thats a place I would like to live! Went there a couple years ago..hiked the skyline trail...its like 2 miles...huge moose on the way..scared the crap out of me at the end it opens up are your on the huge peninsula, we saw whales, bald eagles and moose all right there at the same time..pretty cool

Dis, they told us like 2 days after it happened. But with the noises coming from our tent, it would have been to scared to come to close

They suggested cramming your fist down its throat, then it gags and can't do anything to you ( except put 2inch gouges in your forarms whilst your doing it, HA!!)
