They missed their chance to do that at their last 2 gigs.

Obviously somthing else was more important to talk about.

There's something more important to talk about than NZ winning? Pfft, no.

By the way, relevant fact considering the rife timezone confusion at these parties: New Zealand was the first country in the world to adopt a standard national timezone.

hey folks!
I just got this email from atu2.com...

START YOUR ENGINES: SET LIST RUMORS (SPOILER?)

The doors are about to open at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, and
U2 has wrapped up several days worth of rehearsals for the 3rd leg.
Word on the street is that at least a couple set list changes await
the crowd tonight in Toronto: We're told U2 has rehearsed "Fast
Cars", the bonus track which appeared on some versions of HTDAAB.
We're also told that "In a Little While" has been rehearsed. Whether
or not either makes the setlist ... guess we'll find out in a couple
hours!

I sure hope they play Fast Cars!!!!!!!!!!!! I love that song!:drool:

Tim-Tams are over rated. :hyper:

:releif:

Now this is a real setlist party!

People who think Tim Tams are over-rated would be sad that Australia didn't win the Ashes.

I am very excited to know that :larry: :adam: :bono: :edge: are out there playing for the fans. It's a fine night!

It would be good if North America got Fast Cars - a substitute for having left if off the album

Biff, have a great time

Start the gig with the following announcement:

"Ladies And Gentlemen...In March 2006, U2 will tour the great Down Under, playing in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Auckland, Wellington, and more! The stageshow will be stripped completely down in a throwback to the days of Lovetown, and Tim Tam biscuits will be distributed free of charge to every person as they enter the venues! U2 looks forward to arriving in the great Down Under next year for the first time of the 21st century! Now, enjoy the show!..."

Hour and a half until show time.

I'm worried about where we're gonna get the setlist...:uhoh:

I think U2 goes on in about 80 minutes :).

I think it's more like 95-100, but :hyper: in any case.

I'm recording it as 9:22am right now and U2 go on stage at 11am my time, 9pm local, don't they?

And we'll play 11 o'clock tick tock to open and close the shows.
