How come it feels like the cops just showed up and busted our party with this whole heartbeat to flatline?

it is kind of weird to sing a song about a "miracle drug," before which bono makes a speech about having faith in doctors and in the future, and then to have a flatline at the end of the song...

That's what I was thinking. So much for not giving up hope, right? Seems odd to me too.

:reject:

I was just having an opinion on it.

I love U2. Do not get me wrong. I just feel that Bono goes too far sometimes.

So...
just popping in for a few minutes while I wait for a friend to show up...
What's happened thus far in a nutshell?

It'a Adam of course.....

Hopefully it's the lighting in that picture, because it looks like he's pulled a bald Pop Bono on us.

well, he does have that cool red jacket that he wears for the LaPoE/SBS/Bullet trio

I never said I didn't like the jacket. I love Bono in his Evil Knievel jacket with headband and all. I want to know if he did his drumming at the end.

Hey

01. Vertigo
02. Until The End Of The World
03. Cry / The Electric Co.
04. Elevation
05. New Year's Day
06. Beautiful Day
07. City Of Blinding Lights
08. Miracle Drug
09. Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own
10. Love And Peace Or Else
11. Sunday Bloody Sunday
12. Bullet The Blue Sky

There was a heartbeat and a flatline up before/during Sometimes

LOL...you actually brought up a good (and valid) point about the imagery (sic?) used in this song...

Actually, this would probably draw a strong argument in it's own thread...so long as that doesn't turn into a free-for-all.

Faith is one thing. Reality (today) is another.
I think that Sometimes is consequence of not accomplishing the things that Miracle Drug stands for. The two songs represent one story.
