Hi Zumanity

Wynn is huge! Been there yet? It's kind of nice but I like the Bellagio shops better.

Drai's..only been there once, a looong time ago. Got sick from the Chilean sea bass :( Had it again at Michael's and got sick again, lol. Guess I'm allergic!

I was going to go ... and then I decided I couldn't afford it ... and then a friend said he could get 2 GAs from a client, and I said "fuck it, I'm going!"

I'm goin', baby! U2 on Saturday night! Whoooooo! Vegas!

:hyper:

tickets for both nights $$$$$

3 nights in a 3 star in LV - $$$$$

meals - $$$

drinks - $$$$($)

seeing U2 (first time) - priceless

meeting, greeting, & getting to know everyone face to face.....

beyond priceless

:D

if you're talking about the one i'm thinking of, i've driven past it a few times.

it's very nice, but not really my kind of place.

The ice Bar in LV is a place inside of a casino (Don't remember which one....) and it has a bar that is made out of ice.....they primarily serve Martinis there.......it has a "Russian" decor......very elegant....and pricey.

I've been there once a few years back.......I just can't remember where it is.

Why can't you remember where it is, RR? Drink too much or was it just too cold in there? :lmao: I think it sounds like a cool place and I'd like to see it!

Oh and this just hot off the presses:

Damien Marley to open for many dates in end of Oct and early November, including the LA/Vegas shows. Yay! No Kanye West!

ah, i see. not the same place i was thinking of, then. apparently, it's in mandalay bay.

i googled and came up with this:

I'm so excited for this! I've never been to Vegas before, and the idea of seeing U2 in Vegas has me giddy.

Will be in the upper nosebleed section, but I don't care. Just the fact that I'll be there is enough for me.

See you there!

The Grand Garden at the MGM is a relatively intimate arena, seating only approx 17,000 people, so referring to "nosebleed" seats is an exageration, the seats will be fine. Even behind the stage seats are great.

I'm flying all the way from Paris (france) to see thoses shows!!!

I have one ticket for the saturday night, and i'm looking for a GA's ticket for the friday night... but it's really hard to find. It's around $320 on ebay...
Maybe I will be able to buy one during the Hard Rock Coffe Party?!!?
Anyway, i'll be there with you guys!!

Behind the stage seats

Yes, Carek, I was wondering about those behind the stage seats. Do you get a clear view of the band or would there be some curtain or something obstructing the view?

Follow-up

And as a follow-up on that, I got leads on three tickets -- one directly behind the stage, upper level 224, one literally across way on the other side of the arena, upper level 202, facing the band, and one on the lower level of that side, lower level 103. The LL 103 ticket is twice as much as the other two. Which one would you get of the three?

does anyone think U2 will be staying at the MGM or is that to much to wish for?

Please don't post the names of the hotels U2 stay at out of respect for the privacy of the band members and their families. If you have this information and would like to share, please do via e-mail or PM.

To guinessmen....
I'm in section 220 behind/next to the stage......if the set up is anything like the show in San Diego back in March.......I wouldn't worry about sitting in that area of the venue.....
However, if you want to get a front view of the show......I would recommend the lower level seats...
See ya there

I am so glad you said that Devlin, thank you. I also highly doubt that the band will be staying at the MGM. That would just be too obvious, even tho the lay out of the MGM hotel and their elevator system is difficult and confusing enough to attempt to figure out.
I am sure the band will be at another hotel and will be transported in and out of the MGM via the underground "city" that is beneath the hotel.
