Billboard top all time

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

What do you mean by "list"? Song? Album? Soundscan era?

"With or Without You" was #1 for 3 weeks in the U.S., which is U2's biggest hit.

While "Mysterious Ways" only reached #9 on the Hot 100, it lingered right below the top 10 for months and was a monstrous hit on the rock radio formats (spending months at #1).

"Beautiful Day" may have only reached #21 on the Hot 100 charts, but it spent months and months in the Hot 100 and in the Top 5 on Adult Rock charts.

JT was #1 for 7 weeks, but this was pre-Soundscan. In the Soundscan era, AB and ATYCLB spent 2 years in the Top 200.

I mean the all time top 100 songs. I know it had to be a song from Joshua Tree so I assumed it had to be With or Without You. I could probably go look it up online some where but I figured I'd post the question here. My husband actually asked me, he thought it was Pride. Ahhh NO.

Doctor Who used to have a lot of chart/sales info. From one of his older posts, here is information regarding the top positions of songs on the Billboard Hot 100 charts only. This is THE main singles chart in the U.S. Keep in mind that a LOT of U2 songs placed on other charts (modern rock, mainstream rock, dance, adult, etc.), but for simplicity, I'm only listing the Billboard Hot 100 peak positions. Hope this helps!
