It took me until September 18, 2013 4:25 PM MDT to make the connection between your screen name and the lyric in this song.

Hahaha, that's awesome.

And with that post I should have been clear - it's not that the song is 30 years old that's key, it's that I've been listening to it for all 30 of those years that blows my mind.

I'm not going to bother putting these in order:

The Beatles - Strawberry Fields Forever
U2 - Zooropa
The Four Tops - Baby I Need Your Lovin'
Neil Young - Tell Me Why
Big Star - Thirteen
Joni Mitchell - River
The Flaming Lips - Do You Realize
Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run
The Mountain Goats - No Children
Fleetwood Mac - Sara

These songs cause me to react in the following ways:

Not my actual top 10 ever FWIW, but all ten of those take me to various emotional extremes.

I don't know how to go about this thread. Autobiographical list of the top ten songs that are most important to me, maybe? Otherwise it would just be a top 10 favorite song list, and that's impossible.

I suspect that if I did a top 15, Sara would make it. Pretty important song for me.
