Link to this? I can't seem to find it.

Just added another title to my Blue Note Records collection. In addition to the legendary status of this label, I have always enjoyed their album covers too.

Lee Morgan - The Sidewinder

The '50s and '60s Blue Note jazz album covers are a great look into how awesome typography and layout design was done back then.

Any news on a potential U2 RSD release? Warner Bros announced theirs today. I am particularly excited to see Brand New's Deja Entendu get a re-release - the original run was extremely limited, and copies are worth hundreds. I also saw a blog where someone turned the album into a bowl because they hadn't listened to it much and wanted to try it out. I love that album, so can't wait to finally hear it on vinyl.

Modern Vinyl has a list of what has been announced so far. The official RSD announcement is March 10.

RSD 2015: The List (So Far) ‹ Modern Vinyl

I wonder if folks haven't been confusing Another Time, Another Place with an RSD release. It's a U2 double vinyl coming in the spring (hopefully), so maybe someone falsely assumed it was for RSD.

White Stripes are properly releasing Get Behind Me Satan on vinyl for RSD. The rare promo copy released in 2005 was on one lp and sourced directly from CD and sent to journalists. The proper release is split onto two LPs and sourced from original tape.

I thought the same, but I also thought that U2 have supported RSD before - perhaps they could re-press Pop or something reasonably rare from the back-catalogue.

Perhaps they will release Songs of Experience as a vinyl-only RSD exclusive.

Surprised that RBW bought two records by black artists. Let's hope every note portrays how wonderful life is.

Dude! Take a break and grow up. These Jazz masters don't have to pose and you're the one bringing race into it.

Only the Australians will appreciate this (though it has always astounded me that that is the case):

Got home to a nice surprise from my wife - early birthday present saying she had ordered me the soon to be released Cold Chisel vinyl box (limited to 2000). All of their albums (including 3 never before released on vinyl), plus a live EP, and rarities collection. The pre-order also comes with a live album that is for the first 1500 copies - Live at St leonard's Park in 1978
