Todays haul:
Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin, Paco De Lucia - Passion, Grace and Fire
Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin, Paco De Lucia - The Guitar Trio (seriously, if you want to hear possibly the best jazz acoustic guitar you'll ever hear, buy "Friday Night In San Francisco")
Miles Davis - Blue Miles
Weather Report - This Is Jazz #10

I think I was in a jazz mood today :D

Fingerprints is on the way home from the chiropractor, and I have some catching up to do.

Ramones--It's Alive
Mastodon--Blood Mountain
Dungen--Ta Det Lugnt

There were others I may get when I go back and trade some vinyl. I need to stop paying for cds there.

Today's haul:

Soulsavers - Broken
Cortney Tidwell - Boys
Tinariwen - Imidiwan: Companions

On a random note, I was looking at the alternative kids behind the counter at JB Hi-Fi thinking, you all seriously need to wash your hair.

I hate to do this... but a spending freeze has been issued by me for the next couple weeks (possibly months).

The exceptions to this are to buy The Beatles remasters I want (Revolver, Sgt. Peppers, Magical Mystery Tour, Abbey Road and Let It Be ONLY) and Muse's "The Resistance."

Other than that, unless I find a fantastic deal of something I have to have, I'm putting the money aside. I've spent way too much this summer on music (Not that there's anything wrong with that!)

:reject:

Did you just buy all this?

Yeah, yesterday. At one store. It didn't really break the bank either, altogether it came to under $100.

Oh boy! I took in stack of lps to Fingerprints this morning, maybe about 20-25 records. I got $125 credit for them. :cabbagepatch: I won't say what I took in to spare some of you a few tears, but the handsome vinyl buyer was impressed. :flirt:

So I brought home:
Animal Collective--Feels
Super Furry Animals--Dark Days/Light Years
Supergrass--Supergrass is 10

I still have $87 credit. :giggle:

Ah, okay, nothing I would've been heartbroken to see go. But, the Lou Reed stuff would be nice to have.

yeah, hate to hear lou reed going...i'm just going to assume it was some of his less-than-stellar stuff.

a friend of mine would have hated to see you get rid of the residents, but they were too fucking weird for me.

i bought a couple clapton albums yesterday because i realized 1) i only had the unplugged and 2) that's inexcusable.

i literally did the thing that the green smiley marty posted is doing. and there was this strangled noise that came out of my throat. and then i died. ok, maybe not the last part, but i did quite the impression of mr shocked face over there.
