He really has an awesome voice, and he can sing live just as well as studio. Glad he had a little more to do in the live take.

That was awesome. Better than the album version for sure.

So it looks like the portion of GA closest to the floor is for VIP package buyers, which is almost certainly an exorbitant amount.

Not that any of this matters to me with the Dallas date not even having an on sale yet.

Did a practice run with the Miami presale and pulled two GAs, but lololol they're $170 a piece.

Got shut out of the Chicago presale because I wasn't sure what I wanted. The price is ridiculous. I pulled some tickets, but they blew. I'll try again tomorrow in the general sale.

Worse comes to worst, I'll pay a visit to my ticket oak.

Jeez, not even gonna try pre-saling at this point. Contributions to the Church of YEEZUS are too steep.

Not sure how many have seen this, but I just did and found it hilarious:

Joss Stone once wrote "Less is More." Charlie Wilson had never heard that song.

I like Wilson (Why I Love You is one of my favourite tracks on Watch the Throne) but the sha-ba-da-da-da-twee-twee-tweets are a bit much.

That clip tops the Fallon performance though. Excellent.

I think my favourite moment on all of Yeezus might come in On Sight. Just after "how much do I not give a fuck / let me show you right now 'fore you give it up" when he samples this track.

"He'll give us what we need / it may not be what we want..."

Holy Name of Mary Choral Family - He'll Give Us What We Really Need - YouTube

It sounds fucking astonishing, lumped in the middle of these aggressive, distorted Daft Punk beats. And it surprised me to learn, it's not pitched up or anything. That original is actually pretty impressive in its own right, I'd never heard it, but it's got this really imposing, paranoid, god-fearing vibe that is not at all found in typical gospel songs.

The sheer arrogance of Kanye sampling that line should not be lost on anyone, and I think it's a pretty accurate reflection of how the album has been received overall. Yes, scroll just a few pages back and I'm shitting all over Yeezus, but now I'm thoroughly loving it, and it has been great for hip-hop. He could have put out MBDTF 2, or gone back to a more radio-friendly sound, but instead he put out a 35-minute polarising "I'll do what the fuck I want" record. Love it.

Dallas GAs shake out to $165 per, which is tough to justify along with taking time off work and driving round trip. Think I'ma just hope he plays Coachella or another fest.

Forgive me, Yeezus.
