Been listening to this album a lot the past few days. Shit's addictive. The falsetto in tracks like Gonna Die is great.

Might be my favorite of the year so far though I haven't exactly fallen in love with any album yet. It's the year of decent albums for me so far.

I'm not sure if anyone cares about Tiny Mix Tapes, self-congratulatory as it is, but it gave this album 5/5.

"Play by Play" has gotta be song of the year for me at this point.

I've listened to it and Counting many, many times.

EDIT: I checked, 14 times each last week.

I wish I liked this more than I do. Musically it's very good, but I can't stand this dude's voice. It isn't very strong, yet he attempts vocal acrobatics all over the album, which results in a shitload of unnecessary falsetto (this must be how a lot of people feel about Passion Pit). Wish I could give him credit for crafting a very fresh R&B record, but I don't find this pleasing to listen to really.

I guess I should have listened to a whole song first. :(

I like the music a whole lot. But some of the vocals I find genuinely unpleasant to my ears, especially when he goes into the upper vocal registers and gets screechy. But I'll give it a few more listens.
