We first met when we were still teenagers
Who would've bet on what we'd become later?
We were lost into personal hells
And at first, we didn't get along that well.

We got to know one another
Even though we were losing time with others
Then this one night, you took a step,
I held you tight as I kissed your lips.

Maybe different but closer than ever
Both in front of an affair between two bad lovers,
We sure had storms that darkened our sky
We did find warmth in the strength of our ties.

We sure had fun and travelled together
We did find sun in the uproar of our weathers
We broke up a couple of times
And we made up to reach the love sublime.

Then I sent a rose for my valentine
And I proposed in the middle of family and wines
We got married on a beautiful set
And we got a kid and it got as good as it gets.

I know I can be a little annoying
Or a real pain, that, I couldn't be denying
But the truth is you're everything to me
And in my verses, my love, you will really see

You're my home
You're where I really come from
You're my track
You're where I always go back

You're my laughter
You gave me the cutest daughter
You're my balance
You give my life a sense.
