man it was such a cool dream! U2 had released their first video for the new album (february i believe). the song and video were about the war in iraq/on terrorism. the concept of the video was each band member was at a different palace of saddams...all were bleak and dreary and empty. bono was hanging out by a pool (not tanning, just looking around kinda lonely) edge was in a bedroom also lookin lonely, larry was in a courtyard and adam was on a balcony overlooking baghdad. the video had actual footage of terrorist attacks in baghdad, of burning humvees and iraqi citizens in fear. the song was anti war, but not anti us. it was also anti terrorism. the song was very powerful and so was the video, which caused a firestorm of controversy, not all bad, launching album sales to record proportions. it was amazing!

Once I dreamed that the album was called At the Black Vulture Bar and I heard a song. But, being a dream, I couldn't make out the words, although it had an awesome melody.
