I am FINALLY getting around to uploading my pictures from Africa (2005) to my Flickr. These were all taken with a point-and-shoot camera so the quality leaves a lot to be desired. You can tell by the dark shadows and bright washouts how strong the sun is there.

Mt. Kilimanjaro

Going to Lushoto, up in the mountains. There are these ranges of mountains that have a more moderate climate, and between them the land is flat and covered with banana and sisal groves.

Going up! It was a scary ride! The bus curves around and around very fast, the road is so narrow you feel like you are hanging off the mountain in the bus.

The view from our hotel in Bukoba. We stayed in hostels but at this stop we got to stay in a hotel. After being sick for so long, it was a blessing for me! Our own shower and a flushing toilet!

A view of our hotel from up the road, Lake Victoria in the background. We would walk up the road to another hotel and they would let us use their pool for $2 and serve ice cream for $1.50.

We spent a night in a compound in Kigarama, on the border of Uganda. They have the greatest view of Lake Victoria! Views like this of Lake Michigan cost millions.

Lies the Africa pics are so beautiful. Have you considered writing a book about your trip and experiences including the photos? They really look professional! Keep up the good work, I can tell from your photos that you have a natural creative eye.

Holy guacamole (haha reference to the avocado picture also ). Justin your GGB pictures are incredible.

If we move I will miss Lake Michigan. It's just like the ocean except no salt or sharks!

The Dune. It is so high! Many people go down it and back up, it takes so long. I've never done it since I don't exactly enjoy walking in sand up a steep incline for hours, lol.

My daughter (5thMarauder here on Interference) took this of the Revolution Lounge in the Mirage in Vegas before we saw The Beatles Love show year before last. I just thought this was a cool pic.
