It's a toss up.

Native Son is a great song, but I'm not always interested in listening to the subject matter. Vertigo is at times much easier to listen to...

At the end of the day if I was playing it night after night, I would have gone with U2 and picked Vertigo.

It's patronizing, lazily-written self-help bullshit with no backbone or edge whatsoever, though I suppose one could attribute those flaws to Beautiful Day as well. Then again, Beautiful Day doesn't sound like the menu of an aromatherapy DVD.
