It's going to be interesting to see, for sure. I'm guessing they're extraordinarily low at this point. The American ratings will be also be something to watch. I almost threw up watching Don Cherry and Brett Hull slapping each other on the back last night during the NBC segment. They went on a rant about how critical fighting is to the game. Even though I agree that fighting is a key component of the game we'll never eliminate, I hated how they were pandering to the audience...almost insinuating that hockey should be framed around fighting. That kind of thinking is so ridiculous, and it's detrimental to the NHL.
Trev, I was thinking last night how Ottawa has the real potential to climb back in. The games have been so close, so it's not out of the question by any means. It would be an amazing thing to see a 3-1 deficit erased. It would be great for ratings, and great for hockey if they could at least push to a game 7. That said, it'll take guts, determination, and a whole lot of character...components severely lacking at the moment. When your coach and very best player are continuously taking the low road with retaliation tactics, it doesn't bode well at all.
