Damn, arw, that really sucks
. It's so frustrating when a job doesn't turn out the way you thought it would, but I also definitely understand liking certain aspects enough to the point where it's hard to quit altogether. Hopefully you can get those hours, and if not, hopefully you can find something else to help keep the income going. And hope this weekend turns out better than you fear it might as well. Just use those other people as buffers if need be, and if you get a chance to escape them for a few hours for some reason, you know you've got a hideout here
.
Cori, sorry you've felt bleh today, hope you're getting to feeling better now
. It happens to most everyone at some point, you live and learn, right?
I've only ever gotten sick twice when drinking-once when I had some champagne, and unfortunately I drank it when I already had the beginnings of a headache that turned out to be a nasty one. Bad idea. Bad, baaaad idea. Not doing that again. And then one night when I was at a friend's place-the mix of drinks we had didn't agree with my stomach or something, apparently.
it makes me entirely too proud when I'm listening to a cd in the car and Mercy gets excited and proclaims "That's Bono!'
I love hearing these kinds of stories
.
Also, JJ, regarding that show "The Newsroom"-I've been meaning to check it out, now that the season's finished up I might go through and watch it at some point. I've heard mixed comments about it, but there are things that intrigue me as well, so we'll see how it goes.
