U2 - The Joshua Tree remaster box set with 2 cd/1 dvd!! Found it for $30 today.

Television - Marquee Moon

 Two excellent purchases. After hearing Marquee Moon I could really hear where Edge got one of his early influences from. But nevermind that, the album is also really good on its own.

I had no idea you were anywhere near here, that's awesome!

You need to visit Slowtrain, if you haven't already:

That and only listen to 90.9 fm.

:hyper:

I kept meaning to pick up John Legend & The Roots album on CD, but Amazon MP3 has it on sale today for $1.99, so I couldn't pass that up, I was also about to head out today and buy Kanye's new album on CD, but they've got it for download for $3.99 so I couldn't pass that up either so:

John Legend & The Roots - Wake Up!
Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

Darn, I could have used the recommendations! :D I was very much guided (and limited) by Yelp.

Well, I was only in SLC for three days, including only a few hours with rental car, so I missed 90.9, but found a decent substitute - even if it reflected nothing local. I had never listened to Sirius before, so I was pretty blown away by the quality and sheer spectrum of options. It especially was great considering the wasteland I was in most of the trip. But I enjoyed SLC more than I expected, and I spent two and a half days to/in/from Moab. I hope to make it back to both places.

No, just scrambling to do something fun after my hopes of skiing were dashed. I ended up hiking at Arches and Canyonlands. And of course, the mountains got pounded the day I left, where there had been dirt at the base of Park City the week before I left.

I can't wait to get that Sting CD/DVD since I saw the Symphonicities tour this summer.

Just grabbed:

The xx - xx
Arcade Fire - The Suburbs
Big Boi - Sir Luscious Left Foot
The Roots - How I Got Over
