July 23, 2011 - TCF Stadium - Minneapolis, MN

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I could use copies of audio and/or video. I know nothing about downloading things like that!:reject:

I love how this thread is still active!

Are you able to extract files that are in WinRAR? (It's like WinZip.) If so, you can download the audio at the link on the last page.

If not, let me know. :)

If someone emailed you an MP3, would you know what to do with it?

Have you ever downloaded an MP3 from a site?

At past get-togethers, I would burn a bunch of CD and DVD copies of boots to pass out, but now it seems like everyone can get them, so I haven't done it much.

i sent out about a dozen copies of the seattle dvd to facebook friends who were at the show and don't know how to download. there are a couple of people in that thread i still need to get in touch with.

i'll do the same thing for this show.

A DVD would be awesome for this show! This was my one show in the nosebleeds so I didn't get to see the closeup stuff. I can't wait!

For arw and Edgefest ;) (sorry I know these are huge but I've left them that way so they can zoom in. :shifty: )

cool pictures BC! :)

I can't believe how packed GA is  I walked all over the place at the Vegas show going from one side of the pit to the other and also standing back behind the crowd for a while and there was still tons of space. Glad I had RZ for this show or I would have been really upset by all of the people.

Don't forget Minneapolis Vertigo too...that was great!

First night of Crumbs! Never really a big fan of that song but I loved that we got to hear the debut.

I had nosebleeds for that show and was alone...well I had tons of friends in attendance and even my mom was there but I never managed to find two together. So that's not my favorite show of that tour by any means but I did get some major Bono, Edge, and Adam action before the show. :)

Thanks for the cool photos Bonocomet - you can see me to the left of Edgefest; we're talking in the 2nd photo. This is like the fan cam, only from a different angle.

About MPLS Vertigo...I recorded it and uploaded it to U2Torrents (under user name katconlin). It got about a thousand downloads the first 2-3 hours it was up. Tons of comments. One guy flamed me because it was such an "awful recording" and I felt just terrible, and then about 20 people came to my defense and said it was good, and then it got really nasty. It was like watching a dog fight the way these people were attacking each other. And they all assumed that I was a guy and referred to me as such, when in reality I am an adult woman.

It was downloaded a huge number of times, but eventually U2Torrents pulled it off their system without notice. I don't think it met their compression standards properly (oops, sorry). But I think it was still the only audio recording out there. Some of you probably have it. Of course it was priceless because they attempted to play Crumbs and really screwed it up.

And they played Wild Horses acoustic, which made my day.

So I've had my run of torrenting and think I'll leave it to others, more qualified than I am, to take care of it nowadays.

...Meanwhile....I'm looking forward to getting my hands on U2360 MPLS - far and away my favorite of ALL the U2 concerts I've been to.

I'd like to know who made the decision to go with 10,800 GA tickets. Even the baseball fields, which are half again bigger than the football fields, didn't have that many out there.

Also, did anyone keep a link to the picture that someone found with Bono in the lone beam of light getting poured on? That would be an awesome cover for a multi-cam video of this show.

i can't see me in the GA picture, but pretty sure i can see tim
