Infuriates me that the song title is grammatically incorrect.
my god, i quite like I Gotta Feeling but can't stand Crazy Tonight - figure that out?!
I've been curious about something, guys.
Why hasn't the band co-produced or even self-produced a good majority of their material in the past two decades?

Surely Bono could've co-produced tracks like BD, IALW, Vertigo, SYCMIOYO, and ABOY.
Just wondering.
I think on their next album, the band should try their hand at co-producing almost the entire record.

Simple songs can be great songs and complicated songs can be pretentious piles of dog shit.
It's not about simple or experimental. It's about good or not good.
will.i.am stole U2's I'll Go Crazy Chords for I Gotta Feeling

What benefit would this bring, other than more money to their pockets?
Case in point in this ludicrous modern obsession with 'authenticity' is Lana Del Ray. Who cares where she came from or how packaged her image is, listen to that voice and those songs.

I was referring to The Black eyed Peas "I got a feeling". That is a horrible song...FACT!
I think you're missing his/the point, though.
If The Black Eyed Peas ripped off anyone for "I Gotta Feeling", it's Snow Patrol.
I hear no similarities here, other than a staccato-ed piano/keyboard intro.I always thought that I Gotta Feeling sounded close to that one hit by Sara Bareilles.

I Gotta Feeling is actually a rip off of Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
I don't really see it. Unless the chord progressions are unequivocally the same.
You realize I was being sarcastic, right?
There's about as much similarity between Wild Horses and I Gotta Feeling as there is Love Song and I Gotta Feeling
