LIAWHL would sound awful on Zooropa and even worse on Passengers. It just would not fit in at all. It sounds too much like 21st century U2 to fit in with the experimental 90s.

Book of your heart is the best song (not) on the album. I can kind of understand though why they left it out of the album proper. It sounds a bit incomplete towards the end. But it's such a refreshing song! Especially the lower register vocal that Bono uses so seldom.

I don't know if anybody brought this up. I haven't skimmed the thread. But the intro to this song instantly reminded me of Soundgarden for whatever goddamn reason. Music can create funny associations sometimes. Great song anyway. One of the best on the album!

Lmao! To be honest, in the early days of htdaab release it sounded like "turn it up haha captain" to me.

I don't mind this song as much as some others seem to on this forum. But I don't care for the "blessed are the ignorant" or some shit in the end. Lol.

I never understood people's problem with boom cha. Is it supposed to even mean anything? It's not a complete line like "turn it up loud, captain" or "stop helping God across the road..." It just goes along with the village people dance in the end, that's all. If there had been a non vocal sound...
