eh... this song went downhill after the Elevation tour. I don't like the versions that cut straight into the song without the extended intro.

yea I think it was really awesome... anyone think maybe that Mysterious Ways acoustic version that was reported will have the same treatment? but yeah, Bono just needs to work on the melody and timing, but still sounds great.

...and also Gone (the Elevation version, not the album one) is probably my personal all time favorite U2 song.

Elevation version was better... Edge plays a better outro and plays more guitar chords in the verses, so makes for a stronger song.

Question: Why does it matter to YOU as a fan as to how U2 albums are selling? Shouldn't it really come down to YOU as a fan liking a song or not? I could care less what is being played on the radio, whatever favorite band it is. I love the song Magnificent, and if no one else does, I am ok with...

Probably better than U2 will do it (if they even play it, seems like a song they would skip on this tour). I just wish this band's videos weren't so dark.

I think when the first opening riff chords are played on Breathe that it will be a big moment.

I second this...but I also love when U2 is just being themselves, which is why I also appreciate the Elevation Tour. I think if they tried doing ZooTV now it wouldn't go over as well.

Yeah pretty much everything about this song is great... slide guitar solo, 12 string guitar, great bass part, high vocal notes... I really hope they play it on the new tour!

I love the way Bono sings the word "Magnificent" right before the guitar solo.
