Hmm, i don't think so... But what you COULD do is buy a DVD burner for your computer, get a TV tuner card (which allows you to watch TV on your computer), record with the TV tuner, and then put it on a DVD. That's what I plan to do once I get the money.

apple is super-liberal with replacements. I had a problem with my iPod, and within five business days, I sent it in, waited, and got a brand new one. Just get a new iPod after a year.

My iPod video acted up when I first got it, sent it back to apple, and within five business days got a brand new one, flawless. Apple really is a good company, I've had my iMac for two months and no problems.
