Eddie is fucking awesome. What a song! Amazing solo. Real heartfelt shit right there. Everyone in the band firing on all cylinders.
Their best song in a loooong time. This song has everything Unlimited Love is missing. It sits up there comfortably with Wet Sand and Don’t Forget Me.
This album is a grower.
On first listen I was disappointed. Couldn’t put my finger on it, but the songs seemed to blend together with nothing fantastic.
After 6 weeks of listening, It’s a good album.
Best songs on the album:
She’s a Lover
Watchu Thinkin’
White Braids & Pillow Chair
Bastards...
Finally got to see Pearl Jam again last night. Great show, great setlist.
Matt Cameron was out with Covid so Josh Klinghoffer and Richard Stuverud filled in on drums. Both brought the energy and played amazingly well for less than a day’s notice.
They also pulled a guy out of the crowd to play...
The Discotheque video did some real damage. People in the US tuned out after that. Chalked it up to U2 is goofy now, and I’m moving on. It didn’t help that they didn’t do any live promo showcasing the songs live.
There are some very good songs on the album, but I’m not sure if anything there...
I like the cast on this season, but the production is awful (flashbacks, not enough time at camp, breaking 4th wall, etc…) and there’s way too much advantage stuff going on.
I can’t follow all that shit.
But I will watch. And complain.
Interesting that they’re playing stadiums in the US. I don’t think they’ve done that before.
Went on the Ticketmaster app with the presale yesterday. Santa Clara. Debacle. I only wanted Pit tickets. Kept showing $250 per ticket. Every time I chose it, it came up as someone else for the tickets...
Chinese Democracy isn’t a true GNR album. It’s Axl N’ Friends.
There are some great songs on the album.
It suffered in popularity due to the fact they put it out as a “Guns N Roses” album.
And, all the horseshit surrounding the recording process, length of time it took, revolving door of...
This is an awesome performance. Pure power. Until The End Of The World shows what U2 is, at the top of their game.
Thanks for posting the link. I hadn’t seen this in years!
What a crazy finale in so many ways. Amazing end to a great season.
Tony was the clear winner, pure dominance.
Natalie had a great performance, but came up short.
I would have loved to see an extended finale with some QnA. Maybe an hour on YouTube. I guess the Ponderosa’s they just put up...
Tony has this thing locked up already. I’m surprised the others don’t see this and get him out. The guy is playing the best game I’ve ever seen.
I have a feeling Ben will get the boot soon. Nobody will want to be in a fire challenge against him.
I’m also thinking Natalie has the best shot to...
Another awesome episode. Tony is a monster. The guy is just outplaying everyone in the social game and challenges, and the most entertaining.
He’ll have a huge target on his back now, but if he can keep his idol-acquiring streak going, he’s gotta be the unanimous winner.
Tribal was nuts...
The best part of that episode was Jeremy and Waffle jockeying at TC. Unfortunately Tyson got bit again.
The first half of the show was boring as shit. Why show 30 minutes of loved ones when you have a great season of strategy playing out? Unless you’re having the loved ones battle to keep their...
Since first renting the VHS tape sometime in 1994, I’ve seen this show at least 200 times. It’s what got me obsessed with U2. Still watch it a couple times a year.
Incredible show. Great versions of many songs. Very few weak points.
That being said, you’d think they have a shit ton of...
That was a good Tribal. Seeing the faces on the old school players while all the whispering was going on was great. Ethan was like WTF. I guess this is the first time they were jury?
Adam’s narration of his own game during the confessionals is annoying as hell, but I give him credit for trying...
That was an All-time great play. The rest of the group was shocked and she immediately rose to the top of the tribe in terms of respect.
That Edge of Extinction is looking damn juicy now with Parvati, Rob, Ambuh, and Sandra. Lots to unpack with that group.
