Well ,at least we know now that one of the song on the new album is call "The Cedars of Lebanon" according to Daniel Lanois's new interview in this week "Voir".It's a Montreal French publication. So for those who understand french:)
Voir.ca / Erreur
In the interview he says pretty much what he...
Ask anyone who had the "Orgasmic pleasure" of experimenting the joy of having a 6 foot 3 (or plus) girafe infront of you on the floor, you'll know that general admission is overrated.
......unless you are a 6 foot 3 girafe yourself,of course.
Does this mean that they've already done the photos shooting for the album and the promos?
P.S... Please Willie,no more circular catwalk for this tour.
Been there,done that...............Twice
"Bridge over troubled water"
U2 is meant to cover that fantastic song.Edge and Bono vocals would be perfect .
....and Larry's "bolero" drumming near the end of this tune..
Well,he manage to sing "Lemon" with the falsetto vocal on ZOOTV just like on the album, didn't he?.So at least,he proved there was a reason to singing it that way and that it wasn't just to be arty.
If "In a little while" was meant to be sing the way he does on the album, then why he didn't singing it that way on the Elevation tour?
It was just an attempt on Bono's part to be arty.
As for which song should be gas on this round,it should be "New York"No one should try to duplicate the...
To show how bushleague the release in Canada is,here in Montreal we'll have to wait until April 23rd to see it..that's 3 months after Toronto and even later than Australia.
By then, U23D will look dated compared to The Rolling Stone's "Shine a light".
So is "The fly "version is the one where Bono start the fly with his acoustic guitar and sings" Power outage"!.."Power outage!..Power outage!....Wheres the fly?
"Exit" should leave the building.
How can anyone say that the album version of "Bullet" sucks???.Everyone on the band shine on the song. From Adam's bass, right through Bonos lyrics..and of course, most of all Edge solo.
Maybe some of you have listened too much of Sepultura's version:eyebrow:
Again, the question in the survey is "Who's the best musician in the band" not "who is playing instruments" or "How many instruments each of them plays."The fact he started piano lessons doesn't make him a new Elton John or Billy Joel.
So Adam is better with his bass than Bono with his harmonica...
I'm a big fan of EBTTRT.But the fact that they give it a rest on the last tour was good, though. But has someone mention,it would be perfect for an encore spot in a set.
The intro of the song.....just love it!
The fact that Bono can put an hamornica in his mouth for "Desire" an a guitar strap around his neck doesn't mean he plays those instruments well....C'mon now.Bono's use of a guitar is only for cosmetic purpose.
I'm not saying that Adam his as great as Flea, but if i want a few tips of how to...
May i remind you that even Bono's good friend Salman Rushdie said in Bill's Flanagan book that Bono's songwriting isn't that great.
And that's was during the Zootv tour when he made that comment,So way before the the '00 era.and How many time Bono said in many interviews that all he sees in...
I know that Bono is mumbling half of the lyrics..(and they aren't very good either) but Elvis and america has a thousand time more meat around the bone than 4th "ZZzzzzzz! of July.
So, the Bazooka in full force for me for "4th of July".
"40" is the obvious weak one.Get rid of the live version out of your head.
Speaking of "40",whos doing the 2-3-4 counting at the begining on the album version?
Has Th Boss pushed new bounderies with "Magic"? ...absolutely not.Yet, it's one of his best album of his career. The differences between U2 and him is that he hasn't gone to the studio with the idea of competing with Britney, Justin Timberlake,or any pop stars that are the flavor of the month...
