    (01-28-2005) Express Your Frustrations -- Interference.com*

I don't think anyone has a clear answer to that question at the moment, but atu2.com has some interesting information about ticket brokers and seats on eBay.com. I checked a broker's site that I know of, and this company has GA tickets to everywhere from Twickenham to Philadelphia, ranging in...

    (01-28-2005) Express Your Frustrations -- Interference.com*

:applaud:  Well, Bono should be careful what he wishes for when he said he expected U2 fans to be just a bit smarter than the fans of other bands. Sweeeeet.

I can speak Spanish (I've learned it for at least 4 yrs, so I hope so...) I can figure out Italian and French, it takes awhile. I'm actually starting French classes next qtr. I wish I could have learned some Slovak from my grandma before she got Alzheimer's. Sometime, I'd like to learn Arabic.

How do I get the Edge's "U2" sound? on guitar?

Well, for one thing, you're going to need something that will give you the echo delay, that's what you're hearing on those songs, Pride, WTSHNN, etc. Echoes used to be produced all by analog, but there are digital echo things now...pedals, amps, etc. I'm not the best person to ask, but that's...

Time Names Bush: 2004 "PERSON OF THE YEAR"

But even in the influential dept, it's truly Karl Rove and the advisors who drive a lot of the influencing...Bush is just a figurehead. Then there's Colin Powell who gets to smooth out all the bumps. I don't think that Bush was the best choice for this, I was quite irritated this morning when...

Will you cry the day U2 retire?

I feel the same way, I was just too young for a lot of the older albums...I think I would be severly disappointed, but I can't tell you if I'd cry or not. Death *knocks on wood as well* would be way more traumatic.

Some very unhappy news about the Propaganda Code letters

The squeaky wheel gets the grease...mail some letters to PM. I sent one last week, and I'm not even having a subscript problem. I just don't like the fact that Fanfire is ripping people off and being dumb about it. Maybe if we poke them enough, they'll do something. Works in politics...

 Good point. I'm lucky enough to have found a church down the road from my university that I feel comfortable at. If it weren't for that 12 pm mass, I'd probably not be going at all.
