ok guys you are right, the fact is that I am fascinated by catalogue sales and I'd really like to see U2 doing well in the catalogue chart but I always see that other bands beat U2 in this chart and I am really envious. I'd really like to see Best Of 80-90 on the top of catalog chart for ages!

I don't understand why The Best Of 80-90 isn't charting in the top 25 pop catalog chart, It has a lot of smash hits: Pride, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Streets, I Still Haven't Found, Desire and With Or Without You So why it doesn't chart in the top 25?

Hi everybody, I can't understand why bands that are less popular than U2 in America like Bon Jovi and Queen have always albums in the top 25 Billboard's pop catalogue chart, while U2 not. Maybe U2 are not so huge in America as we supposed to be or Bon Jovi is becoming huger than U2 in America?

Are you sure that it was an Evangelical group? Yesterday I read on a magazine that Shalom was a Catholic group but I'm not sure about it... Catholic Charismatic groups have name like that... I'd like to know what kind of Christianism have most influenced the band....Catholicism or Evangelism?

Champagne Supernova didn't chart in the Billboard Hot 100 just because it wasn't released as a material single and back in 1996 to chart on the Hot 100 you had to do that. But if you look at how it charted on the Top 40 Mainstream chart you will find that Champagne Supernova was a top 10 hit.

Two big hits, Wonderwall first when MG peaked at #4 and lingered in the top 10 for 15 weeks and then Champagne Supernova (a masterpiece song) stabilized MG in the top 20 for another 15 weeks.

Soldatti thanks for the info about Oasis chart run in the US. These data show how Oasis with Morning Glory was the biggest band in the world. I mean 40 weeks spent in the billboard top 40 it's an amazing achievement, problably even better than the joshua tree chart run in the top 40!!

Oasis is maybe the only band that for a couple of years has replaced U2 as the biggest band in the world. In 95/96 they were huge all over the world, also in America that has always seemed to dismiss them in those years were really big having 2 smash hits in the top 10 radio airplay...
