    The greatest moment on SOE

Little Things: "Sometimes..." Book of Your Heart: The whole atmosphere of that song is wonderful. Landlady: Last versa/coda. Red Flag Day: "NO!!!!", but the whole rhythm section throughout is amazing. And one that nobody has mentioned yet: Love Is All We Have Left: Vocodered telescope line...

SOE -- How will they use these 13 songs in concert?

Special mention to, "power of the people; so much stronger than the people in power." Opening night of TJT Tour 2017. Never understood why that one didn't catch on, given it rolls off the tongue. :|

Book Of Your Heart (U2 saved the best for last)!

This song is brilliant. Love the production and Bono’s register. This is my U2.

    SOE promo tour/promo activities

I knew they’d go big with the Refu-Jesus thing. It’s going to be on t-shirts and posters. I’m loving the album, but that song and performance in particular is toe-curling. Can’t see how that would win new fans, or ever change anybody’s mind. Almost as bad as that performance in France with...

SOE 34: If there is a leak, don't let it go unheard

Rob, you seriously didn't think that this could happen?

SOE 31: Yes, we have no bananas

Out of context like that, then yeah. However I find the entire lyric of ASOH incredibly evocative. It's just gorgeous. For me, lyrically speaking, TUF is their high watermark.

SOE 31: Yes, we have no bananas

Zooropa lyrics are gorgeous. The "have no compass..." part on SOI Tour was great. Conceptually, that whole record is on the money. It was only a question of time before Bono's obsession with "America being an idea" made it's way onto a record as the thematic centrepiece. I would imagine that...

SOE 31: Yes, we have no bananas

Is that Bono, or satire? I don't know anymore :wink: One of the funniest things about "refu-Jesus", is that you can tell Bono LOVES it. It's gonna be on a t-shirt, isn't it?

SOE 31: Yes, we have no bananas

I always felt that the following line rescued it: “You broke every heart, thinking every heart mends...” “Refu-Jesus” is an immersion breaker from which there is no way back. Bono’s lyrics and interview fodder have become completely interchangeable. There doesn’t seem much in the way of...

SOE 30: With a Fanscore of 5 Bananas

I like it a lot. Nice ambience. Ending is epic and the whole thing just feels more coherent that recent songs.

SOE 30: With a Fanscore of 5 Bananas

Wonder if they’ll tie in a pre-order of the album with priority tickets, hence the tour dates?

You're the Best Thing About Me - Song Discussion

I'm not a "usual suspect". I'm actually quite irritated by this song.

You're the Best Thing About Me - Song Discussion

Yup. This is really bad. The end of each chorus just peters out. After 3 minutes, it's a different song entirely. A copy and pasted mess of a song(s).
