Hi there, I was sitting at about the same angle at the same show. Didn't the claw leg obstruct your view? I barely saw Bono or The Edge! I was quite upset, especially having paid 250$ a ticket.

Maybe... but at the time I had absolutely no clue it would happen. I was a jealous 13 year old... I didn't know that it would take me 8 years for a miracle to occur.:ohmy:

I remember being sooo jealous of this girl. They shared quite a moment. The Sydney Zooropa performance is supposed to come out on DVD this year. Inside information from someone at Universal. I hope it will happen.

I have that photo in a poster format... I got it as a gift... I was pretty surprised to see that photo.

I've been a fan since I'm 12... and my Bono interaction happened 9 and 10 years later... So from my calculations, your time should come really soon. Don't forget that the most incredibles things happen when you don't expect them to... I know it's a lame answer, but it's true.

Last Night On Earth was recorded at 7 am on the last day they had to record Pop. I read in an interview (I don't remember which one anymore) that the band really felt like it was the last night on earth, they were completely burnt out. I'm guessing that's why Bono's vocals are a little scrappy.

The magazine is called Sensass... not the type of magazine I read, eventhough on the front page they wrote: "Une lectrice a rencontré Bono" which means "A reader met Bono"... I was like... I've never read the magazine once... oh well

Well... I'll try to make a long story short. Back in 2002, I used to work with a girl that now is at Sensass magazine. She was a pretty good friend and she obviously knew about the whole Bono thing because it was pretty fresh at the time and I had a hard time containing myself. About 2 weeks...

Yeah I figured it might not be a good thing... but it was published in a couple of major newspapers here today, so it's not much of a secret anyway. I think they even said it on the radio... that's why I knew it wouldn't make much of a difference if I said something.

LOL... yeah, I thought of asking them to stay with me... but then again, I don't think my boyfriend would like the idea.. :wink:
