The War demos are studio takes. 13 versions of Two Hearts and single versions of Surrender, Sunday Bloody Sunday and Like A Song are all rough studio takes. I agree, the Unforgettable Fire "demos" sound like soundcheck and or tour rehearsal stuff and not actual studio outtakes.

Miracle is not their greatest opener but not even close as poor of an opener that was Breathe. I think the intro guitar when the lights go out on Miracle sort of works when that first hits. Loses momentum from there. But still decent opening, just not an awesome one like Streets, Mofo or Zoo...

Hmm, interesting, how does this apply to the official downloads? I believe Bruce does it quite a bit. Do they just send a general fee to the copyright owner or a fund? I'm sure there has been case law on this since 1976 that could change things a bit especially given the current technology.
