It was the beginning of a song they showed on the Joshua Tree Classic Albums thing. They showed it like in the first 20 minutes or so, before they talked about mothers of the disappeared. I think its a cover of an older song.

Its kind of a shame it never ended up on Achtung, but it didn't really fit the mood of the album anyways. I've never heard "North and South of the River", which is what I hear the main riff eventually became. I hope all those Salome outtakes get the JT treatment in the inevitable Achtung boxset.

I liked it. The video wasn't released because it was "bad", but because they couldn't play the song every night, so they couldn't release it as a single.

Bad, easily. It was an amazing concert up until they played Bad. Then it became the greatest Id ever been to.

Oh damn. Why not? They must release it on DVD already!

I can't find it on Amazon, so I'm assuming the worst. I really want it on DVD :(

Just two random thoughts. I haven't been following U2 since the tour ended, so my first question: What is this Miami stuff I keep hearing? Will there be another tour and Miami is the opening show? and I was watching Rattle and Hum and Bono goes into a quick song that he sings "Rain on me"...

Take Today? What is that, a B-Side? Nevermind, I've looked up the lyrics. It is Take Today. But where is it from?

I remember searching for "Walk On" on Limewire long ago, only to find an incomplete version of a slow, orchestrated alternate version of Walk On. I think it was Walk On, but it had different verses, and the chorus went "Walk on byyyyy...walk on by...". But it was obviously Bono. I really liked...

Bad is the only one that comes to mind though, and it feels longer due to the snippets. Well, I guess extending em aint for everyone. Pearl Jam just pulls it off well. I love my 8 minute "Porch"es. :wink:

Jazz is lame. I want to see some Blues influence. ala the intro to Running To Stand Still.
