There was always going to be an acoustic/stripped-down segment in this show, like there's been in every U2 concert for 30 years. If there's a heavy Zoo TV element to the concert, the songs might be Angel of Harlem, TTTYLATW, and Dancing Queen.

This is going to be mindblowing. I think complaints over not being able to see the whole screen will cease when it becomes clear that your brain might not be able to fully process the entire thing at once.

Like the I&E/E&I and Joshua Tree tours, I suspect the show will start with U2 playing 3-4 songs in relatively "stripped-down" form, with minimal screen activity. Atomic City, Beautiful Day, and Vertigo or something. Then, the screens start to kick in, and we get the full-blast Sphere...

Playing JT live in order didn't really work, but in theory AB might work in order because the album has a bit more a natural flow. Plus, it has a couple of the bigger hits (Fly, Mysterious Ways) later on the track listing whereas JT's biggest hits were all frontloaded.

No U2 release cycle is fully complete until we've heard the two or three B-sides that easily should've been on the album.

I don't think I've so much as thought about SOS since the week it came out, let alone re-listened to it. A few of the reworkings were brilliant and a few others were cool, but for me the other 30 songs ranged from "this is basically the same track" to "what is this crap?"

IMO, the flaw of the JT30 tour was that the Joshua Tree track listing isn't ideal for a live concert, so playing the 11 JT songs but in a different order would've been the wiser move. Fortunately for U2, they have plenty of experience in playing basically all of the Achtung Baby songs in an...

The new version of Miracle Of Joey Ramone is so close to being great, but the new chorus is just clunky as hell. If they'd had this arrangement and kept the original chorus, it's incredible.

Since Dolan is incompetent, the Sphere won't be finished until 2025 anyway when Larry is good and healthy. Problem solved!
