Well, I fell asleep during the first listen. It didn't keep my attention and some songs I found them quite boring.
My feeling is that a lot of the fire and urgency of the original songs have disappeared in these stripped down reinventions ... when I hear WOWY, SHWILF, Streets, Stay, Dirty Day...
OK, the Sphere seems to be a next level musical/visual experience... but does this Vegas residency celebrating their 30-year old album AB justify playing without the founding member of the "Larry Mullen band" ? And fly-in a relatively unknown Dutch drummer? (I am still curious how they ended up...
From one hand very cool they will give shows again. (unfortunately for me as a residency in Vegas...)
